I was surprised by just how much this ice cream reminded me of chocolate-covered strawberries.
Strawberry Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate Swirl
This ice cream started as a variation of my Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream. However, the strawberry flavor here is much more dominant with just a hint of the original cheesecake flavor.
The lemon and sour cream add a terrific balance to the sweetness, but the berries and the chocolate take center stage. The combination of these flavors is fantastic together. Each bite tastes like a frozen chocolate-covered strawberry!
