With every new recipe I share, my goal is to help you become a better baker. And, I write detailed posts along with my recipes so you can learn not just how to bake that recipe but also to become a better baker. While I have had many baking failures over the years, my failures have only made me a better baker. In this masterclass, I will share with you the lessons I’ve learned from these experiences. I want you to bake with me. My recipes are tried and tested, so I’m confident you will experience success. And yet, sometimes there will be failures. Hence, I want you to know that I am with you, to help you troubleshoot and learn from these failures. Also, join the Facebook group, share your pictures and get feedback from me when you join this masterclass. PLEASE NOTE – Most recipes in this masterclass are made with eggs or non-vegetarian products. If you can’t eat eggs please do not register for this masterclass. Currently, I do not have eggless substitutes for these recipes. I truly apologize.
Here’s what’s going to happen in the next two weeks.
Week 1
We are going to understand our ingredients How to use them When and how to substitute them And how to master them
The first step in becoming a great baker is to understand your ingredients. The best part about understanding your ingredients is that you are in control – not your ingredients. That’s my first secret to baking.
Week 2
We will do some baking! I will send you recipes and you will need to follow them and bake. After all, unless you apply the knowledge you have learned you will never know if you have learned it. Right? Every day, for the next five days, I will send you one recipe, or a choice of two recipes. You will bake one recipe (a simple cake). Don’t worry we will start from the basics and move on to more challenging recipes.
Tools I need for this course?
I am no a slave to tools but there are a few tools that do make cake decorating easier. I have listed a few cake tools here that you may consider investing in.
Finally
Your success in this masterclass is largely dependent on your participation in the course material. So, I highly encourage you to read the material and to practice the assignments. And, bake some cake. While you can’t share your cake with me perhaps you can still share the pictures with me on my Facebook Group. I look forward to seeing your hard work.
